Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 17, 2026
TraderStack only works if the ratings, reviews, and submissions on it are honest. These guidelines explain what we expect from everyone who submits, rates, comments, or moderates here, and what happens when that trust is broken. They apply alongside our Terms of Use.
Our purpose
TraderStack is a directory of trading resources — courses, tools, brokers, books, newsletters, and communities — curated and rated by the traders who actually use them. The goal is a place where the best resources rise because people vouch for them, not because someone paid for placement.
We also publish our own educational content — Learn explainers, Guides, a Glossary, and Articles — to help you make sense of what you find in the directory. That content is written and edited by TraderStack rather than submitted by members, so the submission and rating guidelines below don’t apply to it directly; if you spot something wrong or outdated in it, email support@traderstack.in.
Who can participate
Every account on TraderStack falls into one of a few roles:
- Members can rate, comment, bookmark, and flag content.
- Contributors can additionally submit new resources for review.
- Admins moderate submissions, ratings, and comments, and can act on flagged content.
Every moderation action taken by an admin is recorded in an internal audit trail — this isn’t a black box, and repeat or severe misuse of admin privileges is treated as seriously as misuse by any other member.
Submitting resources
When you submit a resource, it should be:
- Real and relevant— an actual course, tool, broker, book, publication, or community that traders would plausibly use.
- Not a duplicate— search first; if it’s already listed, rate or comment on the existing entry instead of creating a copy.
- Accurately described and tagged— correct category, honest pricing information, and a description that reflects what the resource actually is, not marketing copy.
- Disclosed if you’re affiliated— if you built it, work for it, or earn a referral fee from it, say so in the description. Undisclosed self-promotion gets removed on sight.
All new submissions are reviewed before they go live. Submitting the same resource repeatedly after rejection, or submitting resources purely to farm links, will get your account restricted.
Ratings & reviews
TraderStack’s rating system is deliberately more detailed than a single star score — you’ll usually be asked to rate across a few dimensions (things like value for money, reliability, or how beginner-friendly something is). To keep that signal meaningful:
- Only rate resources you’ve genuinely used or evaluated.
- Rate the resource itself, not the company’s reputation or unrelated news.
- Don’t coordinate with others to mass-rate a resource up or down (vote brigading), and don’t create multiple accounts to rate the same resource twice.
- Disclose any financial or personal relationship to a resource before rating it — including if you’re rating a competitor down.
Comments & discussion
Comments exist to help other traders make better decisions. Keep them:
- On-topic— about the resource, not a general soapbox.
- Respectful— no harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or targeting other users.
- Spam-free— no unsolicited promotion of your own resources, referral links, or unrelated services in someone else’s comment thread.
Prohibited content & conduct
The following will get content removed and, depending on severity, your account suspended:
- Promoting or soliciting illegal schemes — pump-and-dump coordination, unregistered securities offerings, guaranteed-return or Ponzi-style promises.
- Phishing links, malware, or anything designed to compromise another user’s accounts or funds.
- Impersonating another person, resource, or organization.
- Scraping the site or submitting content via automation/bots.
- Hate speech, harassment, doxxing, or threats of any kind.
- Sexually explicit or otherwise illegal content.
Not financial advice
Ratings, reviews, comments, and curated lists on TraderStack reflect the opinions of individual users. Our Learn, Guide, Glossary, and Article content reflects our general understanding of a topic and may not fit your specific situation. None of it is financial, investment, or trading advice, and none of it is endorsed, verified for accuracy, or guaranteed beyond our own editorial review. See our Terms of Use for the full disclaimer. Do your own research before trusting your money to anything you find here.
Enforcement
Anyone can flag a resource, rating, or comment that appears to break these guidelines using the in-app flag action — that’s the fastest way to get something reviewed. Depending on what we find, we may edit or remove the content, issue a warning, restrict submission or rating privileges, or suspend or permanently ban the account involved. We weigh intent and history, not just a single incident, and we keep a record of moderation actions for accountability.
Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision on your content or account was made in error, email support@traderstack.inwith the resource, comment, or account in question and we’ll take a second look.
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines as the community and the product evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
